Lead Your Journey Developmental Summer Academy

In accordance with NCAA guidelines, all “PGF Florida” Softball Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by specified number, age, grade level, and/or gender of its participants.

Looking for a softball camp that actually teaches, keeps your daughter moving, and makes it fun?

We’ve got you covered.

This 3-day camp is all about development, energy, and giving young players the tools they need to grow—and love the game even more.

Location:

• We kick off with high-energy warmups, throwing work, and group drills that focus on the fundamentals—hitting, fielding, and throwing. Players rotate through their primary positions AND get to try something new.
• In the afternoon, we bring in pro-level tech (Rapsodo + Zybek) for a full Youth Combine where each player tests sprint speed, throwing velocity, pop time, grip strength, and more.
• Every player goes home with their own printed combine report—and we finish the day with a fun, low-pressure scrimmage.

Day Two - Movement, Mechanics & Game IQ:

• We start with a quick talk about hustle, attitude, and being a great teammate—then it’s straight into more reps! Players rotate through fun, competitive stations (fielding, hitting, pitching, catching) mixed with small games to keep things moving.
• Midday, we head into the gym for age-appropriate movement training—teaching athletes how to take care of their bodies while building strength and confidence.
• After lunch, it’s scrimmage time again! Coaches challenge players with live situations, and every girl gets a chance to shine.
• Bonus: Parents are invited for a short info session on how to best support your athlete through this stage of growth.

Day Three - Game Play + Awards:

• It’s all about putting it together! We hand out each athlete’s combine report and coach feedback, then get right into full scrimmages with fun team challenges.
• Players will rotate positions, be encouraged to compete, and most importantly—have fun playing the game they love.
• We wrap up with camp awards, prizes, and team games before dismissal.
